When I started ZenRide, I thought I was choosing a more relaxed chapter of my life, something simple, something grounded. What I didn’t expect was how many doors it would open. One of the interesting parts of driving a limousine is the people you suddenly find yourself sharing a car with. People I would never normally cross paths with - and yet, for 20, 40, sometimes 90 minutes, we’re in the same space, having real conversations you can’t plan or script. In the past months alone, I’ve found myself talking about: • Work–life balance with the CEO of one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies. • The future of AI and technology with the CEO of a global tech giant. • Career paths and opportunities after being invited for coffee by the global head of HR at a large international company. • And most recently, I was booked to drive a couple to their wedding… which turned into an invitation to their 600-person Indian celebration, where I ended up seated at the family table. A moment I’ll never forget These are experiences I could never have engineered or “networked” my way into. They only happened because I was exactly where I was supposed to be, behind the wheel, fully present, simply doing my job. That’s the magic of this work. You offer a ride… and sometimes, life offers you a glimpse into worlds far bigger than your own. So yes, I still drive people from A to B. But somewhere along the road, ZenRide also became a passport to unexpected encounters, cultural surprises, and conversations that stay with me long after the car is parked. And for that, I’m genuinely grateful. Comments are closed.

WelcomeLife behind the wheel is more than just traveling from point A to point B; it’s about the people you meet, the moments you experience, and the stories that unfold along the way. Welcome to ZenRide Stories, a collection of observations, overheard conversations, and intriguing detours from my journey as perhaps Copenhagen's most curious personal driver. Archives
